Chapa Dimba heads to Eastern Region

Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom heads to Eastern region for the finals to be held at Machakos this weekend.

In absence of then champions Supersolico and St. Mary’s Ndovea, a new winner will be crowned on Sunday.

Tumaini School from Makueni face Biashara from Moyale as Meru’s Black Panthers take on St. Daniels from Chuka in the boys’ while Isiolo Queens tackle Moyale’s  Mabuu Queens as former champions Ngakaa Talent from Makueni play Chuka University at the semifinals.

The three-day regional final will kick off with life skills and mentorship clinics for players today.  Semis and finals are slated for tomorrow and Sunday respectively.

The winners will walk away with Ksh. 200,000 while the losing finalists will pocket half the amount.

North Eastern’s Berlin FC from Garissa has already booked their place in the national finals. Others are Yanga FC from Malindi and Kwale Ladies both from coast region, Falling Waters from Laikipia and Ulinzi youth from Nanyuki will represent Central region where one million shillings will be up for grabs.

32 boys and girls will be selected after the regional finals to form an all-star team that will attend a 10-day training camp in Spain during which they will play friendlies against top Spanish La Liga football academies.
