Kenyans Elizabeth Chepkanan and Kiprop Tonui won silver at the Bali Marathon held yesterday in Indonesia.
Chapkanan finished second behind Ugandan Immaculate Chemutai from Uganda for the title.
Chemutai won the race in 2:42.32 ahead of former Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon winner Elizabeth Chepkanan coming home in second in 2:42.16 with Kenyan Betty Jepleting closed the podium three finishes in 2:44.00.
In men, Hassan Toriss won the title ahead of Tonui set the course record when he won in 2:15.38 followed by Kiprop Tonui and Cornelius Chepkok who came home in second and third place in a time of 2:16.15 and 2:17.00 respectively.
