Chepkoech settles for silver in Budapest

World 3,000m steeplechase record holder Beatrice Chepkoech settled for silver at the closing day of World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The Kenyan runner runner won silver in 8:58.98 with her season best behind Kenyan born turned Bahrain Winfred Mutile Yavi who won gold in 8:54.29 and Kenayn Faith Cheroptich settling for bronze in 9:00.69.

Another Kenyan Jackline Chepkoech managed bronze at 9:14.72
