Home golfer Kirti Morjaria won today’s CIC Insurance golf tournament held at par 73 Nakuru golf club that attracted 131 golfers.
Morjaria defeated a host of both Nakuru and neghbouring club’s to clinch the title when he sunk 40 stable ford points.
Playing handicap 18, Morjaria recorded three pars and six double bodies in the opening nine followed by similar par in the second nine, four bogies and two double bogies in the second nine to emerge victorious.
Njoro’s Sarabjit Sagoo came in second place with 39 points beating club mate H.J Kuria with a single point to 38 to complete the podium.
Kuria was ahead of Nakuru’s Mary Kiruthi, pancras Kuria and all from Nakuru on Count back with 38 stable ford points.
