The reigning world 800m silver medalist Emmanuel Wanyonyi finished second at the Paris Diamond League being held in France this evening.
The former world under 20 800m champion managed to record 1:41.58 as ersonal best behind Algerian Djamel Sedjati (1:41.56) with Frenchman Gabriel Tual coming third in 1:41.61 with Kenyan, Aaron Kemei (1:42.08) in 4th position.
Commonwealth Games champion Wycliffe Kinyamal came a close fifth, also clocking 1:42.08.
