Harambee Stars, the national football men’s team has landed safely in Mauritious ahead of the week-long four-nation invitational tournament.
The Engin Firat side has travelled with 23-man squad to the Indian Ocean island today for the tournament.
Firat off-loaded the quartet of Sofapaka custodian Simon Masaka, Gor Mahia midfielder Alpha Onyango, Kenya Police winger Alvin Mangeni, Bandari’s Mohamed Siraj, Azam midfielder Kenneth Muguna, Joseph Okumu.
Stars were initially scheduled to travel on Saturday ahead of their account against Djibouti the following day but the trip was aborted at the eleventh hour following logistical gremlins.
