Ever green Karanga fires into Uhuru Shield victory at Royal

Fresh from retaining his Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) title, Michael Karanga fired a total of four under 206 to win the Uhuru Shield title that came to an end today at the par 70 Royal Nairobi Golf Club.

The Kiambu golfer has now recorded back to back victories after winning and reclaiming the Kiambu Open title a week ago that guided him to defend the KAGC title.

In the opening round on Friday, he sunk three under par 67 followed by two under par 68 yesterday and today’s one over par 71 earned him the Uhuru shiled title.
