Fresh from winning Iten 10km Road race, Christine Njoki and John Lomon were crowned the champions of the inaugural EldHumb Techrun 10km road race held today in Eldoret, uasin Gishu County.
Njoki won the women’s race in 32:35.3 ahead of Maurine Toroitich (32:53.3) and Christine Chesiro (33:02.2) for podium positions.
In men, Lomon from West Pokot was victorious when he cut the tape at 29:19.9 ahead of Bernard Lang’at who was second in 29:34.4 and Cornelius Kemboi’s 29:47.9.
