Harambee Starlets, the national women football team has improved in the lateset FIFA Rankings on the global standing.
According to the latest Ranking, the Beldine Odemba coached side has moved five steps up from 133rd to 128th which comes after a dominant period especially with the inaugural FIFA Women’s Series held in Nairobi last week.
Kenya lost 2-0 to 15th ranked Australia at the final and a 2-0 win against India and the steady climb is backed by a string of high-value results, collecting 32.71 points.
With the ranking, Starlets are second in East Africa region, CECAFA behind Tanzania at 121st.
Ethiopia moved up one spot to 137th to claim third in the region, followed by Uganda at 145th.
