Kenyan Sharon Lokedi retained her Boston marathon title by leading Kenyans in sweeping the podium.
Last year, she led compatriot Hellen Obiri is a 1-2 finish with a course record of 2:17:22 and today she led Loice Chemnung, Mary Ngugi Cooper, Mercy Chelangat, American Jess McClain and Irine Cheptai.
Lokedi won the title by clocking 2:18:51 followed by Chemnungin 2:19:35 then Ngugi-Cooper was third in 2:20:07 ahead of Mercy Chelangat, who completed a Kenyan sweep of the top four places in 2:20:30.
