Harambee Stars drops in FIFA ranking

National football team Harambee Stars has dropped eight places in the latest FIFA rankings released today by the world football body as Uganda moved to position 74.

The Stars has dropped from 105 to 108, coming from their dismal performance against lowly ranked nations in the latest friendly matches played during FIFA weeks.

Kenya played against Central Africa Republic (CAR) and Comoros  with 3-2 loss and 2-2 draw respectively.

The coachless stars trails Uganda, the East African team having moved four places up to 74th while Rwanda has dropped a massive 11 places and are now at 123 with Sudan also plunging nine spots to 126th and Tanzania ascended nine places up and are now at 137 Ethiopia and Burundi are perched at 145th with Ethiopia dropping eight places while Burundi are down three places.
