Champions KCB ended the unbeaten run for leaders Kabras Sugar at Ruaraka Sports ground.
Former champions Quins lost their last match to former champions Mwamba 24-8 at the RFUA grounds while Nondies lost 13-07 to Homeboyz at Jamhuri Park.
KCB, who are chasing their 5th title beat Kabras 28-20 but the results could not change the standing as the sugar millers lead with 50 finished second on 48 points.
In other matches, Menengai Oilers lost to Nakuru to finish third on 39 points as Blak Blad stunned Strathmore Leos 17-3.
With the final round coming out today, Kabras will take on Strathmore Leos in Kakamega while KCB will be up against Oilers at Ruaraka in the Kenya Cup semi-finals next weekend.
