Harun Wanyama emerged victorious at the 9th leg of the NCBA Golf Series played yesterday at the nine hole Kenya Airforce Golf Club.
With 97 golfers teeing off, they battled for coveted spots at the series’ Grand Finale in Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and the Junior categories.
Playing handicap 4, Wanyama secured a commanding win with a total of 40 points followed by Elvis Murunga with 37 points.
Wally Bitok Division 2 title on 46 points with Jacob Chacha in second after carding 43 points and Carol Nthiwa won Division Two Ladies’ with a score of 33 points, beating Damaris Kikwalto second with 32 points.
Henry Mwereneru won in Division Three with an impressive score of 49 points as Hakeem Mutungi won the junior title after sinking 28 points with guest title going to Jeremiah Kariuki with a score of 39 points as Jared Onyancha claimed the Staff title with a score of 35 points.
