Veteran professional golfer Dismas Indiza Anyonyi and amateur player Adel Balala were top Kenyans at the 2024 Uganda Open that came to an end yesterday at the par 71 Entebbe Golf club in Uganda.
Both Indiza and Balala completed the four day 72 hole tournament in joint 3rd after firing level par 283 in a tournament won by Zambian Dayne Moore with three under par 281 followed by Rwandese pro Celestin Nsanzuera with two shots less at 283.
Other Kenyans at the championships included Great Rift’s Jastas Madoya (285) after finishing 5th with Vet Lab’s Jasats Madoya (285) was 6th alongside Daniel Nduva, Greg Snow, Samuel ChegeErick Ooko, Njoroge Kibugu, David Wakhu and Edwin Mudanyi.
