Magut and Limo triumph at Nairobi City marathon

Eliud Magut and Cynthia Limo Jerotich were the winners of today’s third edition of Nairobi City Marathon to pocket ksh 3.5 million each.

Dubbed Uhuru Expressway marathon, Magut clocked 2:09:47 to beat Josphat Bett to second at 2:10:01 with Nanjing Pokou marathon silver meda;list Emmanuel Sikuku completing the podium at 2:10:05.

In women,  Limo clocked 2:28:02 to win the title ahead of Lilian Chebii (2:28:29) and Peris Jerono who clocked  2:30:43
