National captain John Lejirma fired a total of ten under par 209 to win the Trans Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series title at the par 73 Kitale golf club.
The Kenya railways player, who took the lead in the second round on Saturday managed to sink three under par 70 for the title adding on -6 in the second round and -1 in the opening round for the title.
Lejirma, who took over the captaincy from Dennis Maara on Sunday, fired all pars in the first nine before settling three birdies in 10th, 11th and 14th with all pars in the second nine for a three under par 70.
