Former Olympic Games silver medalist Julius Yego has qualified to compete in the javelin finals at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, France.
This Morning, Yego hauled 80.76m to make it to the finals set for Thursday. He started off with 78.84m before improving in the second attempt with a season’s best of 85.97m on his final attempt in the chase for another Olympic medal.
The 2015 World champion will be joined by German Julian Weber, Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch, Finland’s pair of Toni Keranen.
