Brenda Achieng bagged a hattrick when Junior Starlets, the national under 17 thrashed Namibia at the FIFA Under 17 Women’s world Cup qualifiers in a return leg played at the Ulinzi Sports Complex today.
After a 2-1 win away in Windhoek, it was Kenyans turn to shine at home, winning 5-0 for kenya’s 7-1 aggregate for Mildred Cheche’s charges.
With barren draw in the first half, Achieng opening the score in the 50th minute for 1-0 lead then Emily Adhiambo doubled the score for 2-0.
Achieng netted the third and her brace then a hat trick before Elizabeth Opiyo scoring the 5th.
The Junior Starlets now march on to the next round where they will face Uganda.
