After finishing 5th at the Christie 7s last weekend, former champions KCB RFC will be seeking redemption at the second leg of the Kenya Rugby Union 7s circuit this weekend at the Ingo 7s tournament.
The Denis Mwanja coached side has been pooled alongside Strathmore Loes, Nakuru RFC and Stallions Rugby in pool D in the two day tournament that starts on Saturday 3rd to Sunday 4th at the Kakamega ASK Showground.
With majority of players like Vincent Onyala, Samuel Asati and Festus Shiasi out on international assignments at the Paris Olympic Games, Mwanja will depend on new crop of players at the event.
Christie 7s champion Kabras RFC, who are the hosts are seeded top and will face their arch rivals Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) and Kenyatta University side Blak Blad.
Pool A: Kabras RFC, MMUST, Blak Blad and Western Bulls
Pool B: Kenya Harlequin, Nondescript, Daystar Falcons and Mwamba
Pool C: Catholic Monks, Menengai Oilers, Homeboyz Rugby and Kisumu RFC
