Kabras Sugar maintains top spot after Nondis’ thrashing

Unbeaten Kabras Sugar has maintained their top spot in the Kenya Cup, the rugby 15-a-side rugby league following their win on Saturday against Nondescripts.

In the fixture seven of the league, The Sugar millers is the only team that has not lost any match and they thrashed high-flying Nondescripts 44-05 at Jamhuri Park to maintain their top standing in the league.

Ugandan import Philip Wokorach landed a hat-trick as Kabras overran Nondescripts.

Kabras Sugar scored all their eight tries and double conversions in the opening half to silence Nondies who had previously stunned bigwigs Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Homeboyz and Impala Saracens.

In other results Homeboyz defeated their hosts Nakuru RFC 18-19 as Menengai Oilers rallied from behind to draw 19-19 with visiting Strathmore Leos in matches played at the Nakuru Athletic Club.

KCB defeated Kenyatta University side Blak Blad 20-15, Kenya Harlequin crashed University of nairbi’s Mean machine 47-03 and Mwamba beat Impala Saracens 20-16.
