Kabras Sugar successfully defendant the Enterprise Cup title today following their victory against former champions KCB in a final match played at the RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
The Sugar millers recorded 32-20 victory against the bankers for the third title in a row when the winners started strongly when Ntaben Dukisa converted Lyle Asiligwa to take 7-0 lead as KCB’s Elvis Namusasi converted from the prnalty for 7-3. Dukisa’s unconverted try handed millers 10-3 as Namusasi’s penalty reduced the score to 10-6.
The Bankers would make it a nervy end to the season when they landed a try of their own which was well converted by Levy Amunga to make it 25-20, and now, it was a case of make-it-or-break-it for either side
Kabras would hit the nail in KCB’s coffin with a converted try in the dying minutes of the match to ensure they would be walking away with the cup for the second year in a row, to leave the Bankers drowning in their own sorrows
