Junior athletes at the Athletics Kenya Junior camps in Kapkoimur and Torongo have confidence that they will earn slots to represent Kenya at the world under 20 championships that will be held in Cali, Colombia.
The two camps in Nandi and Baringo counties has a total of 104 junior runners and among the 26 training camps across the country as they plan to be the next world beaters.
With the camps set to be closed this weekend as youngsters plan to open schools come Monday, they will be up in arms training ahead of the championships set for August 1st to 6th where Kenya will be seeking to top the medal table for the third year in a row.
Kapkoimur camp in Nandi County has 50 athletes while Torongo in Baringo has 54 ahead of national trails for the Cali event.
