KCB bows out as Kabras, Oilers and Nondescripts qualify into Enterprise Cup semifinals

Former champions KCB Rugby bowed out of Enterprise Cup in the hands of Ugandan outfits Black Pirates in a quarterfinal match played at Muteesa II Stadium, in Wankulukuku, Uganda.

This is the cross border encounters with three matches being played in Uganda and Kenya hosting one in Nakuru.

But holder Kabras Sugar, Menengai Oilers and Nondescripts made their journey to the semifinals after dominating their quarterfinals.

The bankers, who have now shifted their focus to the Kenya Cup playoffs, lost 10-11 Pirates, giving Kabras a chance to defend their title, Oilers Nodnies to battle their maiden titles.

It was an easy victory for Kabras, who beat Uganda’s Heathens 61-19 in a match played at the same venue.

The result sends Kabras RFC into the semifinals in dominant fashion, underlining their credentials as strong contenders for the Enterprise Cup title.

In another match, Nondescripts were too good for Ugandan Kobs winning 29-13 to make it to the semifinals as Menengai Oilers stunned Buffaloes 60-15 to also qualify.
