The banker’s Daniel Otieno broke the deadlock in the 2nd minute before Vincent Wasambo leveled in the 43rd minute a one all draw into break before substitute Derrick Otanga scored the winner in the 74th minute.
With the win, KCB moves second with 33 points, one below leaders Tusker while Mathare United are still rooted at the bottom with seven points.
On Thursday, 2009 champions Sofapaka will host champions Gor Mahia at Wundanyi.
