Shadrack Maluki, the Kenya Judo Federation (KJF) President has been elected as the Africa Judo Union (AJU) chairman federation’s AJU Congress in Dakar, Senegal.
In an election held on Tuesday, Maluki garnered 39 votes against his close competitor Deladem Akpaki, the Togo Judo Federation president with 11 votes.
Following his victory, Maluki will replace Mali’s Habib Sissoko and his election will see Kenya benefit immensely from the AJU and International Judo Federation (IJF) projects and programs.
