Kenya were crowned the champions of the 7th edition of Kwibuka Women’s Twenty20 international tournament cricket played at the Gahanga Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
Kenya won the title during the final played on Saturday 12th June 2021 after commanding seven-wicket victory over favourites Namibia to scoop their record fourth title to remember the 1994 Genocide victims.
The Kenyan women displayed their possibility to beat their rivals after losing in their last meetings.
There was only one worthy partnership – a 29-run one for the third wicket.
Kenya registered 72 runs for 3 wickets in 11 overs won by 7 wickets (with 54 balls remaining).
