Kenya failed to defend their World Under-20 Athletics Championships overall title as the championships came to an end today.
Kenya, which won the juniors title in 2021 and 2018 in Nairobi, kenya and Tampere, Finland concluded the championships in the fourth position with three gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
The first batch of Team Kenya from Cali comprising of 32 individuals is set to arrive in the country today at 10:00 p.m. as the other team of 17 will arrive on Tuesday.
Gold- Faith Cherotich, Betty Chelangát and Reynold Cheruiyot.
Silver- Felix Korir, Damaris Mutunga and Brenda Chebet.
Bronze- Daniel Kimaiyo, Edwin Kimosong, Purity Chepkirui and Nancy Cherop.
