Kenya Lionesses lose to South Africa, focus on repechage for Paris qualifiers

Kenya Lionesses, the national Rugby 7s women teamwill have the last chance of Olympic Games in paris, France next year in the second round of qualifiers.

After losing to South Africa at the automatic Africa qualifiers yesterday in Tunisia, the Dennis Mwanja side they will  now play in the Olympic Repechage to qualify for the time in a row for the Olympics after Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Tokyo Japan.

First, Kenya will play in the Challenger Series set for June next year in Monaco where they will face off with China, Poland, and Uruguay.

The Lionesses lost to South Africa 12-7 in a final at the Monastir, Tunisia.

The Lionesses had made light work of Uganda 27-0 in the semifinals and beat Zambia 27-0, Ghana 41-0, and Madagascar 20-17 in preliminary Pool B matches.
