Kenya Morans, the national men’s basketball team will be upbeat ahead of Afr-Basket qualifiers.
The Cliff Owuor led side will be facing off with hosts Senegal in Group ‘B’ of the first round qualifiers to be played between November 27 to 29 2020.
Kenya qualified after winning in the Fiba Zone Five pre-qualifiers after beating Burundi, Eritrea, South Sudan, Somalia and Tanzania in Nairobi.
In other championships, Group ‘A’ that has Tunisia, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo and Madagascar with Group ‘C’ that has Cote D’Ivoire, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea were already their first round of the qualifiers and will be doing the second round of the qualifiers in February next year.
Rwanda will be hosting Group ‘D’ that has Nigeria, Mali, Rwanda and Algeria as Egypt will be hosting Group ‘E’ that has Morocco, Egypt, Uganda and South Sudan or Zimbabwe.
