Cricket Kenya is set to host the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s Cricket World Cup in the next two weeks in Nairobi.
The World Cup set for September 25 to October 5, 2024, in Nairobi will be part of the qualifiers for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.
In Nairobi, Kenya will lead the contingent alongside Denmark, Kuwait, Papua New Guinea, Jersey, and Qatar that will compete round-robin where five matches will be played by each nation.
This first round in Nairobi marks the beginning of a three-round competition, with subsequent rounds taking place annually until 2026 and top two teams will advance to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Playoff.
