Emerging Stars, the Kenya under 20 national football team has been pooled off with hosts Tanzania, Sudan, Rwanda and Djibouti at the CECAFA’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) U-20 CECAFA qualifiers.
In today’s draw, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Kenya will start the tournament against hosts Tanzania, followed by Sudan, Rwanda, and Djibouti in pool A that runs from October 6-20 as teams will be aiming to secure four chances in the semi-finals to automatically qualify the to represent CECAFA at the AFCON U-20 tournament next year.
Pool B has champions Uganda, South Sudan, Burundi, and Ethiopia.
