Kenya national women’s hockey team has been placed in the pool of death at the Commonwealth Games that will be held in Birmingham, England later in the year that kicks off on July 29th to August 8th.
Following the announcement yesterday, Kenya has been pooled alongside top ranked nations at the championships.
The Jacqueline Mwangi coached side is ranked 34 at the Federation of International Hokey (FIH), Kenya will take on Australia (2nd), New Zealand (6th), Scotland (22nd), and South Africa (34th) in pool B.
England leads pool A that has India, Canada, Wales, and Ghana
