Vincent Kibet won the 5th edition Berlin 10km Invitational race held yesterday in Berlin, Germany.
Kibet led a 1-2 podium finish for Kenyan runners with Evans Kiprono finishing second. Kibet cut the tape 28:13 with Kiprono second in of 28.20 and Great Britain’s Jack Rowe completing the podium positions in 28:24.
Another Kenyan Micah Cheserek finished in a disappointing seventh place in a time of 28:51.
In the women category Eritrean-french runner Mekdes Woldu won the race in a time of 31:25.
