Kipruto and Kipsang dominate Muller Indoor Grand Prix championship

Two-time world indoor champion Collins Kipruto and Olympian Abel Kipsang won their respective races at the Muller Indoor Grand Prix championship held at the Arena Birmingham in the Great Britain.

Kipruto won the men’s 800m in 1:45.39 to earn his personal best ahead of home boy Elliot Gilles in 1:45.42 as Spaniard Alvaro de Arriba completed the podium in 1:45.82.

The results were amazing for the young runner who lost in France during the Hauts-de France Pas-de-Calais on Thursday.

Same as Kipsang, who also lost in France to finish second, won the 1,500m title in season’s best 3:34.57 when he beat Spaniard Adel Michaal to second in 3:35.30 as Robert Farken clocked 3:35.34 for third.

Kipsang won men’s 1,500m at Indoor Metz in France in 3:36.23 before settling second in men’s 2,000m in 4:57.21 at Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais
