Two time Deaf Half Marathon champion Daniel Kiptum and Deaflympic 1,500m champion John Kiplangat are expected to face-off at the Deaf Athletics Association of Kenya (DAAK) half marathon championships to be staged at Kasarani stadium.
The 7th edition of the 21km distance will also feature 10km starting off at 7am where both men and women will be battling for the kshs 100,000 prize money.
This will be their first recent since competing at the inaugural Africa Deaf Athletics Championships that took place in Nairobi in 2019.
DAAK had organized a Deaf Half Marathon but failed to take place due to Covid-19.
