Men’s Kenya Basketball champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and their women counterparts have taken the lead on the table standing following their victories in the Basketball league played over the weekend.
In women, KPA took to the apex following their two match win agaiants their hosts Eagle Wings 82-34.
The unbeaten women side have accumulated 16 points to enjoy the top psotion.
In men, the defending champions were won two matches against Thunder and Equity Bank 69-51 and 80-60 on Saturday and Sunday respectively to control the table.
In the 12-team league, men’s side dislodged former champions Ulinzi Warriors and have amassed 17 points after winning eight and losing one.
Without playing over the weekend, Ulinzi moved to second on 14 points from six wins and two losses while Africa Nazarene University (ANU) complete the podium with 12 points from five wins and two losses.
