Finally former Kenya premier league (KPL) champion AFC Leopards registered their back to back wins as they continue ‘enjoying’ relegation in today’s fixture.
It was drama as Ingwe defeated Tusker 1-2 in the KPL match played today at Machakos stadium.
Drama unfolded as three red cards were issued in the match as Leopards were the first casualty in the 35th minutes after defender Isaac Kipyegon was sent off for a second bookable offence.
But it was luck as Wayi Yeka and Vincent Oburu scored fast goals against the brewers.
Immedaitley Tusker’s Boniface Muchiri was red cared after collecting his second booking before substitute Amini Muzerwa halved the score.
At Kasarani stadium, Mathare United was held by Western Stima to a barren score, failing to go top of the table.
Mathare are now a point below leaders Bandari, who have two games in hand and face Ulinzi Stars on Sunday in Nakuru.
It was the similar score as Posta Rangers and Kariobangi Sharks played out to a goalless draw at Machakos, thr first match in the double header.
