It was an easy win for Malkia Strikers, who started on high note in the opening match against Rwanda in the Zone Five All Africa Games qualifiers in Kampala, Uganda.
The defending champions won 3-0 to put their title defence alive at Lugongo Arena ahead of Ethiopia encounter tomorrow in a four team round robin following the withdrawal of Egypt and Tanzania.
Kenya started well with a 25-10 win the opening set as Rwandese improved in the second set losing 25-17 before Rwanda dropped, losing the third and final set 25-10.
