Kiptoo won the title after clocking 2:10:53 in a race that cuts across the three nations of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the three Lake Constance Counties.
The Kenyan led Benjamin Polin from France to second in 2:20:06 as Simon Tesfay Completed the podium at 2:26:10.
In women, Kenya’s Gladys Chala Kimaina managed second position after Helen Bekele winning the title.
Bekele cut the tape at 2:26:08 with Kimaina settling for silver at 2:37:09 and Gode Chala Jijo completing the podum in 2:37:35.
