The reigning world 800m champion Mary Moraa won bronze at the ongoing Paris Olympic Games in France.
Competing in the 800m, the Commonwealth Games 800m champion settled for the bronze after timing 1:57.42 behind the champion Keely Hodgkinson who won gold in 1:56.72 as Ethiopian Tsige Duguma was second with silver in 1:57.15.
This was the first bronze for Kenya after Beatrice Chebet winning the 5,000m title earlier on.
