Mengesha beat Kotut for Berlin marathon title

Ethiopian Milkesha Mengesha defeated Kenyan Cybrian Kotut to win the 50th edition of the Berlin Marathon held today in Berlin, Germany.

Mengesha won the title in 2:03:17 with Kotut coming second at 2:03.22 as another Ethiopian Haymanot Alew completed the podium after timing 2:03.31 and Kenyan Stephen Kiprop coming in 4th when he clocked 2:03.32.
