Mwanahalima set for professional career at Djugardens

Mwanahalima Adam will be undergoing trials at Swedish side Djugardens when sporting activities resume due to coronavirus.

The Harambee Starlets striker was expected to leave the country early this Month but her plans were distorted by the pandemic.

The Thika Queens player won the 2016 Sports Personality of the Year Award (SOYA) as the most promising girl.

Her successful transfer will make her the sixth Kenyan woman player to land pro status should her deal go through.

She will be joining Kenyans abroad like Eldoret Falcons duo of goalkeeper Annette Kundu and defender Ruth Ingosi (Cyprus side FC Lakatamia), Corazon Aquino of Gaspo (Atletico Aurience), Esse Akida (Giants Besiktas) and Cynthia Shilwatso (FC Longrono).
