Nairobi United whip Mara Sugar to qualify into FKF Cup final against Gor Mahia

National Super League side Nairobi United defeated Mara Sugar to qualify into FKF Cup set for next weekend at the Dandora Stadium, Nairobi.

Nairobi won 3-1 in penalty shootouts following a 1-1 draw in the normal time and will now face Gor Mahia at the finals.

The giant killers Nairobi beat Tusker, KCB, and Kakamega Homeboyz on their way to the final while Mara Sugar edged out Webuye Sportiff, AFC Leopards, Compel FC, and Kenya Police.

The hosts Nairobo went ahead through Michael Karamor’s goal in the 54th minute before Lameck Omondi leveled ten minutes later to force the match into penalties.

During penalties, nairobi converted three through John Otieno, Brian Ogutu and Rodgers Angal while Gideon Omondi shot went over.

Mara managed to convert through Fredrick Ngiela as Erick Juma, haun Thomas and Robert Obaga shots did not make any meaning.
