Former champions Nondescripts and Menengai Oilers have qualified to play in the Kenya Cup semifinals following their victories yesterday.
Coached by Calum Oliver, Nondies managed to beat their rivals Kenya Harlequins 38-22 to seal the seminal play against reigning champions Kabras Sugar.
Nakuru based Menengai Oilers defeated the Nairobi University side Blak Blad 31-18 to seal the semifinal encounter against former champions KCB.
Their encounter was a repeat of last year with Oilers winning 57-17 victory over Blak Blad.
Champions Kabras will be playing Nondies in the first semi-final on the weekend of March 29th at the Kakamega Showground in kakamega County.
Menengai Oilers will be making their fifth consecutive semi-final appearance after overcoming a resilient Blak Blad in a playoff match at Nakuru ASK Grounds. In their seven Kenya Cup seasons, the Oilers have only missed the semis in their first two campaigns since their promotion to the top tier.
