Nzoia, Mathare, Leopards register wins in KPL

Nzoia Sugar picked maximum points against debutants Kisumu All-Stars in the third Kenya Premier League (KPL) away at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.

After losing by a solitary goal to Sony last weekend, Nzoia defeated their hosts 0-2 with strikes from Leonard Kasembeli and Boris Kwezi.

Kasembeli netted the opener in the 4^th minute while Kwezi sealed the victory in the 47^th minute.

At Machakos stadium, Mathare United won 2-1 against former champions Ulinzi Stars.

George Omondi scored in his on goal to give the winners the lead before Daniel Waweru leveled before Clifford Alwanga netted the winner for Mathare.

In Kakamega, AFC leopards registered their maiden win against returnees Wazitoo fc at Bukhungu stadium.

John Makwta’s converted penalty ensured that Ingwe picks maximum points with the solitary goal.
