Okoth named Shabana coach, replacing Ojienda

National Super league side Shabana FC have appointed Sammy Okoth as their new head coach, taking over from Robert Ojienda.

After three weeks since Ojienda left, the former Kenya Premier League side has been losing and the appointment of Okoth may yield results.

On Wednesday, club chairman Nyandoro Kambi introduced Okoth to players and will be deputized by Kevin Momanyi.

Kambi said Okoth is an experienced coach who previously coached the Sher Karuturi, Agro Chemicals, Zoo Kericho and Vihiga United.
