Wanyama’s Montreal in sweet revenge against Laguna in CONCACAF Champions League

Former Harambee Stars Captain Victor Wanyama’s CF Montreal regietered their sweet revenge against Santos Laguna to advance to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League.

After losing 1-0 win in the first leg, the Canadian side won 3-0 at home for a 3-1 aggregate and will be facing either Mexican Cruz Azul or fellow Canadian side Forge in the quarters.

Montreal had lost 1-0 loss away with the only goal scored by Jesus Ocejo in Torreon on February 16 but yesterday, Montreal had a sweet revenge with Romell Quioto, Djordje Mihailovic and Ismael Kenneth Jordan Kone scoring.

Quioto scored first in the 10th minute of the game, and Mihailovic doubled the score in the 22nd minute and then Kone fired the winner in the 61st minute.
