Reigning Olympic marathon champion Peres Jepchirchir gifted his uncle with a million house over the weekend.
The two time world half marathon champion, on her facebook page wrote that she had to gift her uncle a house as a way of giving back when he raised her when she was only two year.
“Thanks for my uncle for taking care of me since I was 2yrs old, this is for you, thank you God for such blessing,” wrote Jepchirchir.
Just three weeks after winning Kenya’s gold at the concluded games in Tokyo, Japan, Jepchirchir won the second gold for Kenya in women’s marathon after Jemima Sumgong in 2016 before she was banned.
