Omanyala, Koech and Kinyamal win at Monaco Diamond League

Reigning Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala recored his maiden Diamond League win at the Diamond league held in France today.

The Africa 100m champion won the 100m title in 9.92 ahead of Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo (9.93) and Jamaican Ackeem Blake (10.00) for top three positions as Yohan Blake was 4th.

Simon Koech won the 3,000m steeplechase title ahead of compatriot Abraham Kibiwot at the Monaco Diamond League ran this evening in France.

In the 800m race, double Commonwealth Games 800m champion Wycliffe Kinyamal ran his world lead in the 800m in 1:43.22.
