One fails doping test as Eldoret City marathon fetes athletes

One athlete is under investigations for failing doping test during Eldoret City Marathon ran on April 22nd in Eldoret as athletes share Kshs. 18.03 million.

The athlete who was in the prize list did not manage to manage to climb to the podium because the case is still active by Anti- Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK).

According to race organiser Moses Tanui, said that since the investigations are still active, the athlete’s name will remain anonymous until the investigations are over.

“The athlete is still under investigations therefore we will still keep the name until we get clearance,” said Tanui.
